The Land Management Corporation (LMC) is a key economic agency of the Government of South Australia, managing a significant portfolio of land assets on behalf of the State Government.
LMC works to create, facilitate and implement sustainable residential and industrial development projects to benefit all South Australians.
LMC is a socially responsible corporation that demonstrates its leadership and innovation in delivering sustainable outcomes through such projects as the Lochiel Park ‘green village’ and Playford Alive, and its public-private partnerships, such as the Port Adelaide Waterfront Redevelopment, Mawson Lakes and Lightsview.
LMC’s highly skilled staff deliver land and project management expertise for the State’s future growth and prosperity, creating liveable communities that provide highly valued economic, social and environmental benefits for South Australia.

Based in Adelaide, LMC is a results-driven organisation of approximately 100 professional, technical and administrative staff.
LMC has been led since 2005 by Chief Executive Wayne Gibbings.
The Corporation is governed by a Board comprising eight members under the chairmanship of Mike Terlet AO. The Board reports to the Minister for Infrastructure, the Hon. Patrick Conlon MP.
