Speaker: After working 15 years in the gas industry as a technical sales person, Michael Farrugia decided a role change was needed. As a mature age student he completed his Bachelor of Applied Science (Environmental Science) in 2005 and then worked as an environmental consultant in the fields of waste management, contaminated land remediation, and groundwater monitoring. With a passion for the environment and renewable energy, Michael established Green Energy Solutions in 2007 on the premise of educating customers in energy efficiency and helping them reduce their environmental footprint through the installation of solar energy systems. He completed his accreditation for the design and installation of both off-grid and grid-connect solar systems, and currently focuses on the design, installation and consulting for high quality commercial and larger scale solar energy systems.
