Completed just in time for Sustainable House Day is an architecturally designed 1 bedroom display home, built by HIA Greensmart accredited builder ‘Timberset Homes’. This unique solid timber home is made with locally sourced plantation timber (storing carbon for life) and is a modern and functional home, full of well thought out inclusions. Timberset is passionate about building energy efficient homes that take care of their occupants, are kind to the planet, and don’t cost the earth. Come along to this open to learn about sustainable design, eco friendly materials, building biology concepts and the benefits of building in timber. Talks on these topics will be provided at 10.30am, 11.30am, 12.30pm and 1.30pm.
