Solar passive 2 bedroom house with a 40,000 liters under ground concrete rain water tank, 3kW PV system and solar hot water. North facing rooms have concrete slab floor. One wall in living area made from recycled bricks for additional thermal mass. South side of house where bedrooms are located the floor is made of recycled Jarrah. Remilled decking on veranda. The house used recycled deck subfloor, low toxicity construction, natural materials, no VOC clay paint. Windows and door are made from plantation cedar wood. Underfloor insulation.
