Positive Seeds Permaculture 2021

House Notes – Positive Seeds Permaculture

This is a great example of a simple retrofit and renovation of a 1960s-built, self-contained unit. The original structure, on a concrete slab, had an energy rating of zero (0) stars, which was brought up to 5 stars following the renovation. The structure has a range of features including straw board walls and ceiling, wool insulation, solar power, heat pump, R6-rated flat-framed ceiling, radial-sawn timbers, secondhand and recycled materials, double-glazed windows, Australian and regionally sourced and made materials and features.
