The Little Sustainability Patch 2018

The Little Sustainability Patch

Do you want to grow your own food or own chickens? Are you interested in learning about wicking beds? Would you like to plant a native garden or use recycled materials in your garden design? Are you on a tight budget but want a beautiful and nourishing garden?

Then head to Tomakin and pick up some tips! We have built our sustainable garden over the last 12 months. Using a range of recycled and up-cycled materials, we are in the process of creating an edible garden in the frontyard and a native garden in the backyard to provide food for the family and habitat for animals. To keep within a tight budget, we have sourced a collection of second-hand, local and free materials to create the garden. Come and have a look at how it’s evolving.
