RACV’s Inverloch Resort will host a free family event on September 17 to help Victorians think differently about how they use energy at home, so they can save money and live more sustainably.
Held on Sustainable House Day, the event will feature information sessions with energy and sustainability experts providing uncomplicated practical advice, as well as kids’ activities, live music and food.
RACV’s environmental sustainability manager, Simon Mikedis, says Victorians spend most of their energy consumption on heating and cooling their homes.
“As the price of energy increases, maximising resources within the home is critical to controlling costs.
“RACV Inverloch Resort’s event will allow RACV members and other Victorians to explore the benefits of alternative energy sources and other ways to reduce their energy costs, and think differently about using energy,” said Mr Mikedis.
