5 Rooms Retreat

The 242m2 ‘5 Rooms Retreat’ is the brainchild of a Perth family, wanting to not only provide a space for health and wellbeing retreats, yoga retreats and relaxing group getaways, but also to raise money for breast cancer research. Located on a 22 acre block in Margaret River, the home operates completely off-grid and was built with sustainability principles firmly in mind.

The modular home was constructed by Perth based TR Homes and features louvered windows and pergolas, two solar hot water units, LED lighting throughout, high density wall insulation, R4.1 ceiling insulation, floor insulation, water supply from rain water tanks, an aerobic reticulated sewage treatment system and an impressive solar PV system with battery storage and a generator.

All profits from the donations taken on the day and all rental fees from the home are donated to Breast Cancer Research WA.
