Broulee Coastal Bush-Friendly Garden 2018

House Notes – Broulee Coastal Bush-Friendly Garden

Set on a half-acre, our coastal, bush-friendly water-wise garden has been a labour of love for the past six years. It is a fantastic example of what can be achieved in some harsh environmental conditions, including sandy soil, salt spray and coastal winds.

Our garden is complemented with chooks, worm farm, vegetable garden, 30,000 litres of rainwater tanks and a solar system. There are many lessons that can be learned from this aesthetically pleasing garden, which blends in with the natural coastal environment.
