Clifton Hill House

We purchased the property in 2015, it was a deceased estate and had been unoccupied for years. The original portion of the building dates to 1880 and seems to have been renovated in the early 20th century, then the only further works were additions to the rear. It had original 1920s (?) wiring and gas service and required complete renovation. We engaged Mitsuori Architects with the brief “Light Glass and Garden”. We also emphasised sustainability, in particular energy efficiency and included 100% electric utilities. Mitsuori fulfilled the brief very nicely and our home is now a comfortable very low energy cost residence.
