Cob house 2015

Cob house

We have two houses on our property. One is a traditional family brick home 3 bedrooms incorporating passive solar design principles. The other is a cob studio built with earth materials and recycled items sourced locally and from our property. It incorporates our own grown timber, cob, straw bale and a living roof. The cob studio is still in the process of being finished. Our daughter and her partner are building it and would love to share their journey of learning natural building techniques.
