About Falcon Passive Solar Home

This two story home has been designed to stay warm in winter and cool in summer with little to no mechanical heating or cooling. This is both great for our pocket and the environment. The open plan living area is zoned from the sleeping areas helping to keep the heat in the living area for longer which is where we spend most of our time.

The ensuite and bathroom also face north, keeping them drier and less chance of mould to grow. This also makes them much warmer in winter without having to use underfloor heating.

Windows are placed to promote airflow throughout the home. Purging summer heat and keeping the air fresh and clean.
