House Notes – Recycle Home

I have recycled a shipping container into a cool tropical dwelling, all recycled materials except for some fittings and fixings. It is a very simple but effective home. Food gardens, a home engineered solar hot water system with a wood-fired kitchen and a bachelor’s kitchen. Composting toilet, outdoor shower and greywater system, and a fly screen bungalow (Hoochie) as a second dwelling. We use 3KwH of power per day.
