Rodway Passive House 2024

House Notes – Rodway Passive House

After helping numerous clients with their dream passive house projects, the owner of this house, a long time Canberran passive house consultant and now window importer, Harley Truong, wanted to move his family together with his parents and in-laws in one big house. This was his third time building a passive house, so rather than being a pioneering effort, this project aimed to use familiar materials and methods, like 90mm timber stud walls and brick, to meet the passive house standard in the tough Canberra climate. The house will be under construction so participants can see the construction method before it is covered up.

IMPORTANT: The house is under construction so no children or pets allowed. There will be scaffolding steps to get to the upper storey.
