The Treehouse

This house is a 1985 pole house, timber in construction. It is a three level house with fully self contained accommodation unit on the ground level which is was designed for intergenerational living. The house is a work in progress working from the top down. Previously gas was used for heating, cooking and hot water system but when roof insulation was installed heating was unnecessary. We now have induction cooktops and and an electric hot water service will be installed in future. Each stage of the renovation has improved the livability of this house lovingly known as The Treehouse.
