The NSW Architects Registration Board

The NSWArchitects Registration Board is the statutory body responsible for regulating architects under the Architects Act 2003, ensuring that architectural services in New South Wales are delivered competently and professionally to protect consumers and support high standards of practice. As an independent, self-funded regulator, the Board maintains the register of qualified architects, publishes resources to inform both professionals and the public, and promotes discussion about the value of architecture in the community, including professional standards and ethical practice in design. Its focus on quality, safety and public interest aligns with Sustainable House Day’s commitment to inspiring better, healthier and more sustainable homes.
