The NSW Architects Registration Board

The NSWArchitects Registration Board is the statutory body responsible for regulating architects under the Architects Act 2003, ensuring that architectural services in New South Wales are delivered competently and professionally to protect consumers and support high standards of practice. As an independent, self-funded regulator, the Board maintains the register of qualified architects, publishes resources to inform both professionals and the public, and promotes discussion about the value of architecture in the community, including professional standards and ethical practice in design. Its focus on quality, safety and public interest aligns with Sustainable House Day’s commitment to inspiring better, healthier and more sustainable homes.

Victorian Energy Upgrades

Victorian Energy Upgrades is a government initiative that’s delivered by the Department of Energy Environment and Climate Action.

The program offers discounts to help Victorians upgrade to more energy-efficient appliances, like heating and cooling, induction cooktops, and hot water systems. This helps households save on upfront costs, lower their energy bills and reduce energy use. The program will save 37 million tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions for Victoria between 2022 and 2027. That’s equivalent to taking more than 11 million cars off the road for a year.

Find discounts on efficient appliances and start saving on energy bills.

SEC, Victoria

Thinking about going electric? SEC is making it super easy.

Electric homes are cheaper to run, healthier to live in and better for the planet. Switching heating, hot water, cooking and other appliances from gas to electric will help reduce energy bills and emissions. In fact, the average existing Victorian home could save over $2,000 per year by going all-electric when paired with a solar PV system.

The Easy Electric SEC online tool gives you trusted information to understand your energy use and potential savings, explore electric upgrades and potential rebates, get tailored, obligation-free quotes, and find an SEC-endorsed installer near you. Learn more about Easy Electric SEC and take control of your energy costs in a quick and simple way.”
