About this home

Canopy CLT House is aptly named because of a magnificent Lilli-pilli tree around which the house is set. This tree with its over-arching canopy is viewed from most rooms. The house is constructed from Cross Laminated Timber, used in a sculptural manner and left exposed to give the house warmth and tactility.

Designed as an airtight Passive house, it is a light filled house built for health and comfort by providing better air-quality, climate control, a mould-free environment on top of excellent sound-proofing from external noise.

Winner of the 2025 Sustainability Award for a single dwelling (New), we are super excited about sharing all the different ways that sustainable, better health oriented measures and materials can be utilised in even the littlest of ways from low or zero VOC finishes, cork flooring, Paperock countertops, Kobe board cladding, whole house water filtration and more.

Features: CLT structure , all electric house. Solar array & Battery, HRV, De Humidifier, AC, Passive House performance windows, adjustable sun shading, ventilated cladding, continuous airtight barrier and insulation. Airtight 0.4 AC/Hr
