Please also try and submit photos that are high quality and mostly portrait. People also LOVE 'before and after' and 'behind the scenes' shots if you have them so feel free to include them.
Do you have a video tour?
(Required)
Yes
No - but I will send a link when it’s ready
No - I don't want to do a home tour video
Your video doesn’t need to be polished or professionally produced. A simple, handheld video filmed on your phone is perfect. We love honest walkthroughs that show your home as it really is, with you talking us through what you did, what worked well, and what you learned along the way. Think of it as telling your story to a neighbour rather than creating something for an awards night. Clear audio, natural light and a steady-ish hand are great, but authenticity matters far more than fancy editing or production values.
Video
Please upload your video to Youtube or any other file storage service that works for you. If you upload to a service other than YouTube, please ensure it in an MP4 format. We will download it, add appropriate credits and sponsorship details and upload to our Youtube account.

7.4. In the case of severe weather warnings, the Participant may decide whether to cancel their in-person Event participation and must notify Renew.
7.5. Tickets paid for by visitors will be refunded only under the above circumstances.
8. Code of Conduct
8.1. Participants agree to treat all visitors, volunteers, and Event staff with respect and courtesy.
8.2. Participants must not engage in discriminatory, offensive, or unsafe behaviour during the Event.
9. Dispute Resolution
9.1. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall first be addressed through mediation with the Event organisers.
9.2. If unresolved, disputes will be governed by the laws of the relevant jurisdiction.
10. Agreement
By ticking “Yes, I agree” on the online homeowner application form, Participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
This document ensures clarity and protection for both homeowners and organisers, fostering a successful and organised Sustainable House Day 2026.
Your Story
Here are a few questions that we know people will want to ask! You don't have to fill them all out. The ones you do fill out will be displayed underneath your home tour listing.
What motivated you to build or retrofit sustainably?
Bills, comfort, resilience, health, climate concerns, future-proofing, etc.
Which single upgrade made the biggest difference — and how did it impact your comfort, bills, or lifestyle?
Every home project has a “wish we’d known” moment. What was yours, and what can others learn from it?
What’s your dream upgrade or future project — if time or budget weren’t a barrier?
